2020 – Week 1 Feeding the Homeless and Vulnerable Support

As-Sadaqah Week 1- JustCare Charity

Salaams As-Sadaqah week 1 money has been collected. By the grace of Allah we have raised £1920 Alhamdulillah.

This week’s money has gone towards JustCare and supporting the needy and vulnerable. Just Care is a Bradford based charity. A brother who is a trustee of the charity and whom we know personally has been working really hard to help vulnerable people and families in our local community. These people are living in very difficult conditions and with very little.

* We purchased 60 Musalla (prayer mats) @ £4.50 each (£270) 30 have been handed out amongst Muslim refugee families
* £200 went towards Quraans – 35 have been given out so far
* JustCare will be looking to purchase toys for children of the refugee families it is supporting on a weekly basis and we have said to pay for them from our money insha Allah in time for Eid
* The remaining money will be used as part of their feeding 50 refugees every iftar and suhoor throughout the month of Ramadhan aswell as 40 daily meals for the homeless.

Receipt and any pictures where possible will be forwarded once received insha-Allah
Whoever opens the fast of a fasting person will receive the same reward as the one who fasted. Without any decrease in the reward for the fasting person.

May Allah accept this from everyone and grant us all mercy in these testing times. May our charity be a means of protection and a way of keeping calamities away. Aameen
