2016 – Week 2 – Hifz Sponsors (3 students for first year) + 3 Orphan Sponsors (1 year each)

‘As-Sadaqah’ week 2 money was given to Ummah Welfare Trust towards sponsoring 3 orphans and supporting 3 hifz students for the first year of their studies (As-Sadaqah will be supporting these students each year until completion which is 3 years inshaAllah). Alhamdulillah a total of £1,440 was collected; so with your £10 we were able to sponsor 3 orphans for 1 year (£300 each = £900). As well as sponsoring 3 new hifz students for the first year of their studies (£180 each = £540).
May Allah accept this from us all and may we enter Jannah with the Prophet Muhammad (saw) as stated in the hadith “I and the person who looks after an orphan and provides for him, will be in Paradise like this” (putting his index and middle fingers together). – Saheeh al-Bukhari.
The Prophet Muhammad (saw) emphasised the importance of providing education stating: ‘The best amongst you is the one who learns the Quran and teaches it.’ – Sahih al-Bukhari.
May Allah accept our sponsoring of these hifz students as sadaqah jaria and may we all continue to get the reward for every letter they recite and for every letter they may teach, and and may it be a means of gaining Allah’s pleasure. AMEEN
