2016 – Week 1 – Water Projects
“The best form of charity is giving water (to drink)” Prophet Muhammad pbuh
‘As-Sadaqah’ week 1 money was given to Ummah Welfare Trust for the building of two water wells and a handpump. Alhamdulillah a total of £1250 was collected; so with your first £10 two wells were built, 1 in Pakistan (£650) and the other well in the Philippines (£450) and one hand pump in Bangladesh (£150). May Allah accept this charity from us all and may it be a long continuing Sadaqah Jaariya for us and for those whom it was intended (Aameen).
