2016 – Week 4 – Donation to local Marie Curie Hospice
“Those who support a good cause will have a share of the reward… ” (Quran 4: 85)
‘As-Sadaqah’ week 4 (2016) money has been given to Marie Curie Hospice Bradford 3. A total of £1710 was raised Alhamdulillah. It was a great meeting with the Hospice fundraising manager and one of the As-Sadaqah brothers who fundraises for Marie Curie. She was very appreciative and was thanking everyone from As-Sadaqah who had contributed and emphasised how grateful they were for us to have chosen them as one of the charities for the Ramadhaan weeks. Marie Curie works with people and families dealing with terminal illnesses as well as other supporting services for the people of Bradford. Many As-Sadaqah members and/or their families have attended Marie Curie and have said how fantastic the care and professionals were. It was an honour for us as Muslims to take part in this small way.
May Allah accept this from us all, may He make things easy for us as we have tried to do through this act of charity and may it be means of entering Jannah.
